Methodology

What V1 does and does not do

  • • V1 is a high-level, deterministic planning simulator: material balances, component balances, yields, recoveries, conversions, selectivity, capacities, constraints and economics.
  • • It is not a rigorous thermodynamic simulator. No flash, VLE, kinetics or heat integration is solved. Results are screening quality.
  • • The AI Copilot orchestrates: it builds and configures models and explains outputs. Every number it reports is read back from the calculation engines.
  • • The architecture separates engines from UI so rigorous thermodynamics can be added later without changing the flowsheet or economics layers.
